Critics toward the government's slow and discriminative responses in dealing with issues related to religious beliefs are the indications that there are no clear boundaries between Nation and religions in Indonesia. Indonesia is not a country that is based on a certain religion or secularism. The vagueness of this identity often generates misleading policies in conducting the nation authority. In relation to that, the nation can be no longer clear from the influence of majority religion that has power. the psychological condition influenced by the majority of religion that has been very dominant in the nations policies permits political protection upon religion that is hyper protected. Such political authority tends to support the demands of majority group in order to protect religion that is legally acknowledged by the nation hence suppressing other religous communities or beliefs that are consented by the decree and human rights. The majority group and the nation the becomes an ally compositing political authority that often determines the policies in this country that is the exchange of authority to support one another. This situation implicates to the vague positon between nation and religion. The absence of the nation law and the takeover of the authority for the sake of the majority religion that can often be seen are the results of the collaboration. In the name of majority, a violent aggression for the sake of protecting the religion seems to be legal from the view of religion and the nation law.
